LEMONISM F.A.Q.

By “LemonShaPriestess” karima N.H., founder of “Lemonism”

Citron #0

“What is Lemonism?”Edit

Lemonism is based on a religion/philosophy that all the problems plaguing the world today are caused by the manipulation and deliberate exploitation of Mankind’s carnal (animal) consciousness and the “Human consciousness” by the powerful “System”. If you know and find out all the different tactics the System uses to infiltrate and influence, the lives and actions of mankind to suit their own egotistical needs, then you’ll be able to use your new found knowledge to further your achievements in any area in your life. If enough people apply Lemonism in their lives, then one day in theory, the System will eventually disintegrate, and then Humanity will enter into a new era of enlightenment (We have a looong way to go).

Why call it “Lemonism”?Edit

In order to truly “deprogram” yourself from the System, you are going to have to unlearn what you been taught all your life, especially if you’re the “conservative conformist” type. In fact, some of the truths you find out in life are so shocking and unbelievable that it’ll leave a “sour taste” in your mouth, even if the evidence is placed right in front of you. But once the shock from the “sour lemon of truth” is gone, the information you just learned can be put to good use to improve your life and those around you. You just turned that “sour lemon of truth” into “successful Lemonade”.

Yes, but why Lemons?: A lot of belief systems have non violence in their philosophies. But as you may know people preach one thing and do another. In the real world and especially in this day and age you can’t be always peaceful and passive all the time. One day in the far, far, far….future humans will move beyond violence. But until then we have to find some middle ground. Lemonism believes in being aggressive-passive. This means fighting only when attacked, being able to fight and defend yourself ruthlessly, and do all of this while not looking like a threat. By the time your “attacker” realizes the danger it’s too late. Aggressive-Passive also means to get a point across, or getting something from somebody without being a threat, or making a person feel uncomfortable. A Lemonist applies this when “fighting the system”. A Lemon is a aggressive-passive fruit. On the outside a Lemon doesn’t look like a threat. But if you try to cut the Lemon and the juice get in your eye, you just realized you been bested as you scream bloody murder from the acidic juice in your eye. The colors yellow and white are also seemingly non threatening. This is why the Lemon, and the colors yellow and white are the representation of this belief system.

Why do Lemonism have rituals?: Lemonism embraces certain aspects of other cultural and religious ideas. All religions in their literary works have some aspects of Lemonism in their teachings. It’s just that the System manipulated all the ancient religions to their benefit, so we now truly don’t know which part of religion were written by man or given to us by a higher being (if you believe in God/ess) and it’s up to Lemonism and the Lemonist to sort out all the “fluff” from the facts. This is why Lemonism will have rituals, because we can squirt Lemon juice in the eye of one of the System’s major ways of controlling people, the exploitation of religion (and religious Dogma). Religions have rituals because they help the person except the teachings of that faith emotionally and not just intellectually. The problem with rituals become obvious when a religion goes overboard with it’s rituals to the point when it becomes ridiculous. That why we end up with religions that split off from their orthodox roots into all of the different degree’s of formality today. Then all of these religions fight each other because the other faction “don’t do this right“. Performing rituals by themselves don’t better a person or “save their soul”. Rituals are basically belief enhancers, but this doesn’t make rituals bad. Rituals are only bad when they go against development of humanity, intellectual enlightenment, or freedom in any way. The rituals of Lemonism are totally optional, and are unceremonious in nature, and one doesn’t have to do them to be a Lemonist. I will publish the rituals in my upcoming book on Lemonism. The rituals will range from interesting to down right amusing.

Does Lemonism have any holidays?: First and foremost, the official birth of Lemonism (March 1,2007), the true beginning of the new year which is April 23, (after the first month of spring), followed by any other already established holiday you choose to follow. Why Does Lemonism consider the new year to be in April rather than January? Because it makes sense. During the spring, every thing that is alive is renewing itself. The days are getting longer. Plants are starting to grow. Animals are starting to become more active. Baby animals are being born. Early cultures used to start their “new year” in the spring. Why the System want to make people ring in the new year during the time when everything is cold and dormant? Who can say?

What are Lemonism views on the beginning/ending of the world, the afterlife?: Lemonism stresses that options on Eschatology, “the afterlife”, and so forth is up to the individual to decide. Using the principles of Lemonism, one should look at science and common beliefs from different religions, using common sense to filter out “the fluff” and the mysticism, and come up with your own conclusion. What ever choice you make on the matter, remember this, science has a habit of making several theories on topics that they can’t currently produce concrete evidence on, then they pick one or a few theories they like best and promote it so much that they brainwash everyone into thinking that it’s fact instead of admitting that they don’t know. Religions can fill in the blanks that science leave out. Unfortunately, most religions have been altered, distorted , and misrepresented. Certain religious teachings can be either proven fact or myth, and other religious teachings can’t be proven fact or myth, but it doesn’t prove that it’s not true. When it comes to certain things we can only guess the best possible answer based on our limited senses, and admit that we currently don’t know all the answers at this time. The mistake we tend to make is to forget that a theory is not a fact, but an educated guess. I’ll talk more on this subject in my upcoming book.

Does Lemonism have any Gods/ goddesses/ demons/ UFO aliens/ other supernatural beings?: Lemonism is represented by Lady Citrah*, the Lemon Goddess. She’s represents the “sour truth” and the “lemonade of success”. Lady Citrah is symbolic; She is not meant to be literally worshipped like a traditional Deity. Having Lemonism represented by “Lady Citrah“, would remind people not to take only one religion or belief system as canon because no one is totally right, and the only way to better ourselves and defeat the “nectar of lies” by the System, is by spreading the “sour truth”.

  • Lady Citrah was originally going to be named “Goddess Citroma” as a joke on Citroma ,the very sour lemon tasting laxative, to “purge the lies of the System out your body in 1-6 hours“. But I don’t want to get sued by the Swan laxative company!

Appearance: Goddess “Lady Citrah” is Yellow and White. Lady Citrah wears a crown of orange, yellow, and white feathers. In her left hand Lady Citrah is holding a lemon as if she’s offering it to you. In Lady Citrah’s right hand she’s holding a glass pitcher of lemonade.

Does Lemonism have any sacred sites/ places of worship/ holy ground (if any): Florida.

But seriously, you don’t need a sacred building or a holy church to practice Lemonism. Lemonism best works when it is applied in the “real world”, and not in a building isolated in the back woods somewhere. As the sour truth spreads far and wide, maybe…just maybe we’ll end up with Lemonist motorcycle clubs, auto clubs, tenant patrols, block parties, Weddings(?!)…But who knows what the future hold?

What are the rules to living as a Lemonist?: Living the life of a Lemonist is easy. One, read the “30 Basic Commandments of Citron (and some sour truths)”. These commandments are the foundation of Lemonism. Then apply the commandments in your daily life to combat the System. If you liked what you read here and think that Lemonism is for you, and you incorporate it in your lifestyle then you are a Lemonist. Remember, there are no one set of rules on how a Lemonist is suppose to be. To demand that people act or dress a certain way would be a victory for the System because that’s what they would want us to do! Individuality and creativity is strongly encouraged in Lemonism. What you read here just touched the surface of Lemonism. I’m in the progress of making and creating a book that will have a whole lot more information about the philosophy of the “sour truth”, with examples and explanations to help the fledging Lemonist.

Why do we need Lemonism? Aren‘t there enough religions and philosophies in the world?: All the other beliefs mean well and are not wrong necessarily, but they don’t tell you how to combat the System. Some of the contemporary “New Age” religions, non profit orgs., political parties are exposing the lies of the system but they just expose only one part of it, and the solution commonly involves replacing the current System with their own. Lemonism doesn’t do this. Lemonism believes in exposing all the lies of the System, find common ground in everything, and using the knowledge to better yourself and others around you. In this way the System is combated from the inside out.

What is the “System”?: The “System” is anyone or anything that has enough power to control or influence people, for their own selfish needs. This doesn’t limit the System to just one person, government, religion, political belief, economic system, social group, but an amalgamation of all.

Exactly how does the “System” manipulate Humanity?: There are two sides of a sentient being the carnal (animal side) and the higher intellectual side. When the Carnal, and the intellectual side are in balance the person thrives. When there is a misbalance in any part of the Carnal or the intellectual side, or when certain aspects of the two mix together in the wrong proportions (including aspects that shouldn’t mix); the person falls. The “System” and their power lies in exploiting these two sides of humanity, feeding off of us, growing strong, not realizing that they themselves are victims! Therefore the Regime feeds off itself. This is why humanity is currently in the state it’s in today.

If the System is feeding off itself, why doesn’t it eat itself into oblivion?: It’s because as long the System can control and fatten us up with it’s “sweet nectar of lies“, the longer the System can feed off of us, therefore repeating the cycle. This is why fighting the System head on is unrealistic. By applying Lemonism into daily practice you can stop being fed off of and brainwashed, and fight the System from the inside out, using the truth.

The following FAQ’s below are subject to change and is not set in stone because I haven’t got every detail figured out yet. I think you truly have a good thing going on here, and I want to join your church. What do I do now?: Like I said before you don’t have to join “any church” to become a Lemonist. If you buy the book when it is published, then you just paid for your registration fee! All you have to do is to mail in the application (no photo copies)located in the back of the book. Then you will receive a membership card, which will contain your citron number, which will proudly identify you as a “Citron”, a Lemonist who is registered into C.O.S.T. The membership card is good for life. There are no age requirements, but anyone under 17 must get their legal guardian’s permission before joining C.O.S.T. There will be no other requirements. There will be no dues. The registered Lemonist will also receive a letter welcoming them into C.O.S.T, email updates on the release dates of the C.O.S.T website, magazine, and comment room. The magazine when released will be in Adobe Reader format and will be a free life time subscription for C.O.S.T members. If a member will rather receive their subscription through the regular mail, then the member will have to pay the yearly cost for shipping. Non member’s of C.O.S.T will pay for a yearly subscription of the magazine through either media medium, but the electronic version of the magazine will be far cheaper since it’s not mailed! All prices will be announced when the magazine is released.

Why are you going to have people who want to register into C.O.S.T. buy your book? Are you trying to make money?: This is to make sure the registered person at least understand the basics of Lemonism, and to cover the book publishing costs. I’m on a very small budget, and so when I have my book published, it’s not like I’m going to get rich and I’m not trying to get rich, (C.O.S.T. is going to be non profit). So it wouldn’t do me any good to buy 100 copies of my book, and only 5 people a year want them. Anyway, I already have the book cost to be estimated around $6.99-7.99 a copy that I will have to pay out my own pocket. This is why I’ll buy a few copies at a time as demand grows. Also if the person decides to register, technically, they are doing it for free. The only requirement I ask for the person to register is to read the book and to send the application as proof of payment. Very few people will buy a book and not read it. Remember, you do not have to register to be considered a Lemonist. You can buy the book and not register. It’s up to you.

When you publish the book, and start registrations, if I decide to join COST, will my name remain confidential?: Yes.Names will be kept confidential. Those who want to join C.O.S.T will give just their first name and the first initial of their last name, and address to where they want their membership card mailed to. When the C.O.S.T website is up, those who have books will just scan their application and e-mail it, and they will get a “e-membership card”, in which the member can print out and laminate.

How would we know when your book is published?: Those who are interested in getting my book on Lemonism when it comes out can send me an e-mail at churchofsourtruth@yahoo.com with “Lemonism” in the subject line. Include any e-mail addresses you want me to contact you at. As of Apirl 19,2007, the manuscript of the book is finished. The offical title is "THE BIBLE OF SOUR TRUTH (the basics of Lemonism)". After I recheck the manuscript, the only step left is the book cover.

Will COST have a hierarchy? Will there be initiations?: Not in the normal sense. Under Lemonism we all have equal potential. There will be no ranking system. There might be descriptive titles later on (like “treasurer”, or “website administrator” for example.), but there will be nothing that will make one Lemonist higher on the totem pole that the other. A person that is registered in COST will have the title “Citron” after their name/ID. This doesn’t mean that a person has rank. It will just ID them as registered. Hierarchy will go like this:

Founder: The “LemonShaPriestess” - Citron/Lemonist

Founder: The "LemonShaPriestess" Me. Even though I'm the founder my role will be more of a supportive leadership role rather than a totalitarian "I"M THE LEADER!!" role. Citron (and or a Citron with a functionary title)/ Lemonist (a person who believes in Lemonism but is not registered in COST). The structure of the hierarchy will actually be like a circle, not like a step ladder or a pyramid. That way there will be no one higher than the other. There will be no “initiations”, to join COST, because you have already initiated yourself when you decided to become a Lemonist. If there are any major decisions to be made, they will be brought forth to the founder, which will be announced to all Citrons to vote on. Whatever the majority vote is wins. If there is a tie, then the founder will have the deciding vote.

Why are you going to have people who want to register into C.O.S.T. buy your book? Are you trying to make money?: This is to make sure the registered person at least understand the basics of Lemonism, and to cover the book publishing costs. Also if the person decides to register, technically, they are doing it for free. The only requirement I ask for the person to register is to read the book and to send the receipt as proof. Very few people will buy a book and not read it. Remember, you do not have to register to be considered a Lemonist. You can buy the book and not register. It’s up to you. The Citron will receive info by mail or e-mail on any update and articles of Lemonism.

When you publish the book, and start registrations, if I decide to join COST, will my name remain confidential?: Yes. Plans will be to have the potential member to send only their first name and first initial of their last name. I’ll issue that person an “ID number” that will be placed on their membership card without their name. I will also have people register through email or fax which will be even better because they won’t need to have their card mailed to them. All the person have to do is scan a copy of their receipt , and then email it to me. Then I’ll email them back with their membership card in which they can download, print, and then have it laminated themselves. But I’ll work out the bugs.

How would we know when your book is published?: Those who are interested in getting my book on Lemonism when it comes out can send me an e-mail at tigonesskay@yahoo.com with “Lemonism” in the subject line. Include any e-mail addresses you want me to contact you at. I will send you emails with updates on the book’s progress, with sneak peaks of each chapter. When I come close to finishing the book, I will announce the book cover contest, for the front cover and the back cover. The 2 winners will receive 2 free copies of the book, their name in the credits, $50.00 each., and a nice certificate.

What will be the minimum age to join COST?: One can be any age to follow the principles of Lemonism. In fact Lemonism can help the youngster get through the so many problems kids today have growing up to in addition to any other beliefs that they follow. Children and teenagers are still finding there place in the world, and they can believe in one thing day and then change their minds years later. This is not a bad thing, and it can take years to find one own set of moral values.Anyone under 17 must get their legal guardian’s permission before joining C.O.S.T. Anyone of any age can buy my upcoming book on Lemonism if they are able to understand the principals, and then wait until they turn 18 to join. That way the youth will have plenty of time to apply Lemonism in the real world and determine if it’s right for them.

I’m in jail and or have a prison record. Can I become a registered Lemonist?: Lemonism believes in giving someone a second chance. That includes those in society that have made mistakes. If you committed a minor crime, and are honestly making your life better after you are released from prison, yes you can become a registered Lemonist (a Citron). You just have to state what you been sent to jail for. If you go back to jail and if it’s found out your membership is canceled. I haven’t sort out all the details yet in this area, so stay tuned, but know this, I will never register a person if they got charged with serious crimes like rape, child molestation, 1 first degree murder, ect. Lemonism also believes that there are certain people that just can’t be rehabilitated no matter what you do.

NOTE: A P.O. Box will not be available by the time this book is published to handle mail in memberships. So until I have a P.O. Box available, all memberships will be done by e-mail. Here’s how, Fill out the application. Scan the completed application and save in .jpg format E-mail application to churchofsourtruth@yahoo.com with “COST membership” in the subject line. You will receive an welcome e-mail with an attached file which is your membership card. Print it (high quality paper is preferred) and laminate it.

The 30 Basic Commandments of Citron (and some sour truth’s)Edit

1. Thou shall admit that Humans can’t discover everything through our limited senses.

2. Thou shall not force your God/ess upon anyone. Teach don’t preach! If the person wants to convert they’ll let you know.

3. Thou shall admit that at first the truth may not be something that you are always willing to accept or hear.

It’s take’s a while to make a sour lemon into sweet lemonade. We all have our beliefs and cultures ingrained into us, so when someone tells us something that is “against the grain” we tend to shut them out, even if what is said is true. Sometimes it’s best to take a step back and analyze what this person is saying. If you have any doubts do your research (because you do have your nutcases out there). So even if you still don’t want to believe what is said, at least you heard a few view points and hopefully learnt something.

4. Thou shall know that Lemonism does not officially endorse any political philosophy, party, or candidates.

4b. Individual members are free to hold any political philosophy, but it is advised that it’s better to forgo politics altogether.

5. Thou should put a drop of lemon juice in the eye of anything that divides people.

This is how the System controls us. If we wasn‘t so busy hating, killing, and fighting over stupid stuff, Humans would of evolved far beyond our current condition. It’s not practical to love everyone nor you should, but you shouldn’t dislike or hate someone for stupid reasons (e.g. racism).

6. Too much of one view point is bad.

7. Don’t take everything you learned in school as canon.

8. Truth is often found in books they don’t publish at you traditional bookstore.

9. Don’t be enslaved by conformity, but there are times when it’s best not to stick out too much!

10. Trust that gut feeling.

11. The system really doesn’t care that much about you no matter how many benefits they give.

12. Always try to improve your current condition.

13. Make “them” need you, not the other way around. Otherwise you’ll be taken advantage of.

14. The system is full of hypocrisies. Learn them all!

15. Anything that is different from the majority is either going to be accepted or rejected, so just because the System tells the people that something is “unusual,” or bad doesn’t mean it is. Find out and judge for yourself.

16. Have everything in moderation.

17. Your health and safety comes first. Health care is too expensive.

18. Thou shall not take advantage of the gift of generosity.

19. Don’t stress yourself over things you can’t control.

20. Be aggressive -passive. This means being able to stand your ground, being able to fight back, without looking like a threat. Also, this means to get a point across, or getting something from somebody without being a threat, or without making a person feel uncomfortable. This includes winning any kind of fight without the enemy realizing he/she just been smashed until it’s too late!

21. Thou shall forgive someone at least once in your life because you’ll never know when you’ll need to be forgiven.

22. Thou shouldn’t have to be forced to love their enemies. Sometimes forgiveness is a two way street.

23. It’s best to walk away from a fight, but if you can’t escape or if your opponent won’t leave you alone tear them to pieces!

24. Don’t spend beyond your means. Don’t get trapped by the demon of debt. If it’s not a major purchase like a car or a house and you can’t pay it off in 6 months you probably can’t afford it.

25.Obey the laws in your area.

26. There are only so many times you can attempt to “rehabilitate” someone before you throw the book at them.

27. Anyone that commits serious crimes against women and children should be smashed! Lock them up and throw away the key!

29. Be careful who you talk to.

30. Don’t be afraid to help someone in need. Last updated 4/20/2006
